Polish Breakout -- 9 September 1939

Starting setup, looking southeast.
The broken western bridge and German units guarding it.
The intact central bridge, from Polish positions looking to the SE.
The next three pictures show the situation near the end of the scenario. Polish cavalry has crossed the river with heavy losses but has managed to hold morale and route the German AT gun crews. However, they're in for a nasty surprise when a company of Panzer II's appear over the rise. Meanwhile, Polish armor has begun to cross the central bridge, and they will soon chase the inferior Panzer II's off the ridge.
Pictures by Jeff Gerckens and James Davis, cleaned up by Daryl Poe.
