German Armor Company Commander -- Hauptman _________
Situation report: Evening 8 Sep 1939 -- east of Warsaw

The operation Fall Weiss began a week ago, and German forces appear invincible. You have made remarkable progress already, and Warsaw should fall within another week. A large group of Polish forces have been surrounded in the area north of the Bzura River and west of Warsaw.

Since the campaign began, you have encountered only light resistance of Polish tankettes and isolated infantry groups, which you swept aside or bypassed with ease.

Your company will be moving east towards Warsaw on an unpaved road about a kilometer south of the Bzura. You are not to get involved in combat unless in self-defense: the encirclement forces should be able to hold the Polish, and you don't want to lose strength before arriving near Warsaw. Move at travel speed until you arrive. Night travel is not advisable at this time.

Your forces consist of a reconnaissance platoon (motorcycles), two Panzer II platoons, and one Panzer IV platoon (short 75's), each commanded by a Panzerbefhelswagen I.

Your troops are inexperienced but well-trained and of high morale.

Victory Condition: move everything off the east edge of the board, along the road, without losing unit strength. (This may change.)
