| Notes: All but 50 King Tigers used the improved Hencshel turret. The Tiger II was the heaviest operational tank used by any nation in WWII. It was almost immune from fire from the front, but its mobility was limited and it was mechanically unreliable. Almost all VIb's went to heavy tank units and the SS. They served on both late-war fronts. |
