| Notes: The PzKw IIIN was an attempt to stretch the lifespan of the PzKw III design by using it as an infantry-support vehicle with a 75mmL24 gun. 663 were produced from mid 1942. Production was terminated in August 1942, and the PzKw III was phased out in 1943. The IIIN was used to support Tiger units and in the same role as the IVD. There were some 150 at Kursk. |
