Notes: The PzKw IIIJ was produced in larger numbers than any other PzKw III. 2,616 were produced in 1941 and 1942, with the 50mmL60 in about 1000 (the 50L42 being used in the rest). The IIIJ was Germany's main medium tank in 1941 and 1942. The PzKw III was phased out in 1943, though many served later and some 140 served at Kursk.
