| Notes: 1,216 saw service in Russia. PAK 40 on a Pz II chassis. The Marder II was the first effective use of a self-propelled AT gun, but the high silhouette and light protection made this only an interim solution. Another version of the Marder II (SdKfz 132) carried the 76.2mm(r) gun. It served with PzJg units from July 1942 to the end of the war. |
