Notes: In an early attempt to create an assault tank, the British mounted the 25-pounder on a Valentine chassis. Limited maximum elevation reduced its value as self-propelled artillery and ammunition was limited. The M7 Priest was much superior and the Bishop saw little action beyond the desert.
